Rise From the Ashes

I'm sinking in, can't hold back these tears. Faith in one hand, wrestling my fears in the other.

I've been stripped down, broken, left with only me — but somehow I still whisper, God let it be. Like Job, I rise from the ashes of my pain. I won't curse His name, even when the storm brings rain.

"You can take it all, strip me bare, break me down. I'll still stand tall, feet on holy ground. Through the fire, through the night, I'll testify — this woman won't stop praising, even when I see cries."

I may cry, I may fall, I may crawl to survive. But I'll trust You, God — You kept me alive.
