Love Notes (Single)

Not necessarily about romantic love — some hear gospel, some hear something else entirely. It's whatever you need it to be.

Written from a low point after losing my job, this is a reminder that no matter the highs or lows, the universe always finds a way of sending a love note — a small sign that says you're okay, this is still all good.

The love notes show up everywhere — a butterfly at your lowest point, the sun feeling extra bright on a good day, a dream about someone you lost arriving right when loneliness sets in. When it gets to be too much, I write it out. Journal, notes app, random paper, poetry. That's where I find my resolve, instead of letting it consume me.
